Background

Updating to Catalina means AccountEdge (or any other 32 bit software) will no longer work. We are supporting our current AccountEdge customer base while we work on a solution. In the meantime, we’ve made the decision to stop selling AccountEdge. For other software options for Mac users check out MYOB Essentials, or get in touch on 1300 049 108. Installing the latest version of AccountEdge can be done from either an email that was sent to you as a link or your online AccountEdge account or by using the links below.

In order to insure that your computer can properly run the AccountEdge program please check our operating system requirements. If your computer does not meet the requirements please update the operating system before installing AccountEdge.

We have written instructions below - but this video shows how the installation process works for AccountEdge Pro US for Mac, the process is very similar for the Windows version as well:

Please Note: This video shows how you can download and install the trial version using the Chrome web browser, but again, the process is similar whether you are using one of the links below or the trial version email (or if you are using a different web browser).

Note for Users Installing Both US and Canadian Versions of AccountEdge for Windows

AccountEdge for Windows always attempts to install to C:AccountEdgePro[Year]. Because of this you need to follow a specific series of steps. This is only necessary for the Windows version - it is not required for Mac. Please follow the instructions found here.

AccountEdge Pro for Windows (US)

PLEASE NOTE: These are links for the LATEST version of the software. If you are installing on a new computer or have never used the LATEST version of the software on the computer you are currently using the software will appear in trial mode until the software is Registered. You will have 30 days in trial mode before Registration is required.

  14. Click and drag AccountEdge Pro V20## to either the dock or your desktop and then release the mouse (if desired)
  15. Double click on the icon for AccountEdge NE V20##

  18. Double click on the icon for AccountEdge NE V20##
  19. The AccountEdge program now launches

  7. Close the Download window
  8. Click 'Go' located on the menu bar at the top of the screen across from the apple
  9. Click 'Applications'
  10. Look for AccountEdge Pro V20##
  11. Click and drag AccountEdge Pro V20## to either the dock or your desktop and then release the mouse (if desired)
  12. Double click on the icon for AccountEdge Pro V20##
  13. A window shows the application was downloaded from the internet, do you want to open? Click Open
  14. This will bring you to the 'Welcome to AccountEdge' screen
